Chocolate Banana Protein Cookies with Coconut and Cranberries

These banana chocolate cookies are packed with goodness, and are perfect for a quick breakfast, pre- or post-workout meal, or just as a midday pick-me-up snack.

  • Banana (Large, Overripe) – 1
  • Whey Protein Powder – 25g
  • Egg – 1
  • Egg Whites – 90g
  • Rolled Oats – 100g
  • Oat Flour – 50g
  • Cacao Powder (Unsweetened) – 35g
  • Maple Syrup – 30g
  • Sea Salt – 1/4 tsp
  • Cinnamon Powder – 7g
  • Cranberries, Dried – 50g
  • Dessicated Coconut – 30g


  • Mash the banana in a big bowl with a fork.

  • Add the egg and egg whites, and beat with a fork until smooth.

  • Add the protein powder and mix until smooth.

  • Add rest of the ingredients to the bowl, and mix.

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it. With a large spoon, pour mounds of the mixture onto the baking sheet, and level off with the spoon to form cookies.

  • Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180C for 8-10 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Enjoy!
